This policy explains what personal information Tristan Media Group LLC collects through tristanmediagroup.com, why we collect it, who else can see it, and how you can ask us to remove it. It describes what we actually do. If our practices change, we update this page and change the effective date above.
Who we are

What we collect
We collect two categories of information.
- Information you send us. When you fill in the contact form we receive your name, email address, company name, the type of project you are asking about, your budget range, your timeline, and whatever you write in the message field. If you email or call us instead, we receive whatever you choose to tell us.
- Standard server records. Our hosting provider automatically logs technical information about every visit, including IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request. This happens on every website and we do not use it to identify individuals.
Why we collect it
Contact form information is used for one purpose: to reply to you and, if we end up working together, to run the project. We do not sell it, we do not rent it, and we do not add you to a marketing list unless you separately ask us to. Server records exist to keep the site running and secure.
Cookies and tracking
This site does not run advertising trackers and does not sell or share personal information for cross context behavioural advertising. Our hosting provider may set a small number of strictly necessary cookies to serve cached pages and keep the site secure. If we add website analytics in future, we will name the provider on this page and update the effective date before turning it on.
Who else can see your information
We use a small number of service providers who process information on our behalf. They are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
- SiteGround. Our web host. Your form submission is stored in the site database on their servers, and they hold the server records described above.
- Google Workspace. Our email provider. A copy of your form submission is emailed to us and therefore sits in our inbox.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone else's safety.
How long we keep it
Contact form submissions from enquiries that do not become projects are deleted within twenty four months. Records relating to clients we have worked with are kept for seven years, because tax and contract law requires it. Server records are kept according to our host's own retention schedule, typically a matter of weeks.
Your choices
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@tristanmediagroup.com with the request and we will respond within thirty days. We may need to confirm your identity first. We will not treat you differently for making a request.
If you are a California resident, note that we do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross context behavioural advertising.
Children
This site is for business enquiries and is not directed at anyone under sixteen. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
When we change this policy we update the effective date at the top. Material changes will be noted here rather than made quietly.
